Trinity Catholic 2, Dracut 1
Senior Matt Foley scored the game-winning goal with 6:11
left in the third period as the Trinity Catholic boys hockey
team topped Dracut in its regular-season finale last night
at Watertown's Ryan Rink.
Senior Justin Poulos scored the other goal for the Falcons,
while sophomore Sean Moccia made 40 saves in a huge effort
in net.
The Falcons finished the regular season at 16-3-1 and are
hoping to be a top seed when the Division 3 North pairings
are announced on Monday.

Girl's Basketball
Maimonides 45, Trinity 33
Freshman Nicole Civitarese had nine points, 15 rebounds and
three steals as an undermanned Trinity Catholic girls
basketball team finished the season winless with a loss to
Maimonides in the consolation game of the Trinity Catholic
Girls Invitational.
The Falcons were down three at the end of one quarter and
two at the half before Maimonides broke open a 37-22 lead
after three quarters.
Freshman Taina Malary had a huge game defensively with 20
rebounds, seven blocks, six points and five steals. Junior
Jennifer Smallwood had nine points on a trio of 3-pointers
and freshman Hannah McCaffrey had seven rebounds and five
blocked shots.
Civitarese was named a First Team All-Tournament
selection.
